I was heading on down to the beach one day
Saw a weird old shell it was walking away
The color of the shell was a very dull grey
I picked it up and I heard a tiny voice say

I am a genie
And I'll grant you any wish

So I looked into the shell and I began to speak
Unsure what to ask for my voice was meek
He saw that I was confused and said dont worry my friend
Im a mystical genie, and three wishes I extend
Tell me your desire, Lets light your inner fire
Stoke those flames up now and make them go higher
Its your lucky day you found a magical fish
So come on my friend and tell me your wish

Each grain of sand is a wish that I have granted
Anyone who comes across me never goes home empty handed
I will fulfill all your dreams
Bring true your greatest fantasies
And when we are done
Please return me to the seas

First thing I could think of was a brand new car
I knew my current one wouldn't get me far
He nodded his head and started waving his hands
After it appeared he said now lets raise those demands

Why just have one thing,
When you can have them all

You're right, I said, lets have it all
So for my next wish, I asked for a mall
Filled front to back with my favorite stores
A food court, a fountain, and so much more
He nodded his head, and the mall it did appear
He turned to me and said, so where you gonna store all this gear?
So for my final wish, I got a mansion by the beach
Got my car to take me far, and my mall within my reach

Each grain of sand is a wish that I have granted
Anyone who comes across me never goes home empty handed
I will fulfill all your dreams
Bring true your greatest fantasies
And when we are done
Please return me to the seas

So when he was done I placed him down
he scurried away, without making a sound
When he got to the water, he turned and smiled at me
I'll always remember, the words he told me

Each grain of sand is a wish that I have granted
Anyone who comes across me never goes home empty handed
I will fulfill all your dreams
Bring true your greatest fantasies
And when we are done
Please return me to the seas
